Chris is a Harrisburg radio industry veteran. He first came to Harrisburg in 1975 as a part-timer on top 40 station WKBO (AM). After WKBO, Andree had various midday shows on Sunny 99 FM, Lite 97-3 FM, KOOL 94-9 and KOOL 99-3. He became Clear Channel Production Director in 2001, as well as hosting the River 97.3’s overnight show. He can be heard doing commercials and voiceovers across the midstate, including ABC 27 and has been the public address announcer for the Harrisburg Senators for over 15 years.
You can sample just under six minutes of the new Rush album, Clockwork Angels, a week before its release by logging onto the Walmart website. They have posted 30-second samples of all 12 tracks. It will be out June 12th.
As for the album, their 20th studio effort, drummer Neil Peart writes on his website, "We modestly believe that it represents our best work on every level of our craft, and we sincerely (earnestly) hope other people will agree."
One person who disagrees with them making an album is Pete Townshend, who they met last month in Ottawa when they were presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Award. He told them backstage that making an album was a "waste of time." They agreed, but said they had to do it anyway. --Sal Cirrincione
