We are all damaged goods.
We are all broken..
I see it in myself in the constant mental and emotional inventory that I take, to make sure I’m still sane, or to at the very least to at least to be sure that I am still in ownership of some strand of sanity.
I see it in countless social media proclamations that “You can’t handle half of what I’ve been through, so I make strange decisions”..
I ...see it everywhere I look, and pick up on it from everyone I come in contact with.
Maybe I’m over thinking some things. But maybe the problem is not that we ourselves are broken, but we are under the impression that everyone else is in perfect working order. We aren’t.
That may be where some of the some of the problems start.
We are all damaged goods.
We are all broken...
But it’s OK.
We might not be able to fix each other, but with the right amount of emotional duct tape, who knows what could happen?
